Arney’s Mount Friends Meetinghouse is under the care of Mount Holly Friends Meeting. The Meetinghouse was built in 1775, and is made of stone, which was unusual for the time and place. The Meetinghouse and adjacent burial ground sit on 6 acres of land. The burial ground was in use prior to the construction of the Meetinghouse, and a wall around the graveyard was built in 1860, but does not enclose all of the graves. The Meetinghouse does not have electricity, and is heated in winter by a wood stove.
